At a packed Community Prayer Breakfast in the foyer of Bankers Life Fieldhouse downtown, Congressman Andre Carson and Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard along with Ten Point Coalition’s the Rev. Dr. Clarence Moore honored one of Indianapolis most visible and distinguished community leaders. AM1310 The Light venerable broadcaster Amos Brown was honored by the Indianapolis Ten Point Coalition at their second annual Community Prayer Breakfast. Brown, the host of the popular Afternoons with Amos received the organization’s Humanitarian Award “In recognition of your love for humanity evidenced through your extraordinary media career promoting human welfare as well as dedication to social change”. “I’m honored and humbled to have been recognized by the Ten Point Coalition for my efforts to make Indianapolis a better place to live”, said Brown. “I’ve been privileged to be a servant/leader in Indianapolis going on forty years. To be honored by another group of servant/leaders like the Ten Point Coalition is a true honor.”, Brown added.
