The NFL Combine gets underway Wednesday downtown from Lucas Oil Stadium. Indianapolis Colts officials are on hand to observe players, conduct interviews and make evaluations as they prepare for the NFL Draft. The Colts don’t own a pick in the first round of the draft. Mizzou player Michael Sam who recently divulged ahead of the NFL Draft that he is gay will be on-hand to demonstrate his skill set. If Sam is drafted, he’d be the first openly gay player in the league. It is expected that he will draw extra attention and scrutiny while in Indy for the Combine.
