A man has been arrested on a murder charge hours after his live-in girlfriend was killed in a home on Indianapolis’ south side.
Police said The woman’s body was removed from the home in the 1800 block of Singleton Street nearly eight hours after she died.
Details about how the woman was killed weren’t immediately released, but two body bags were used to remove her.

Plan For Market Square Arena To Be Announced Tuesday
The future of the former Market Square Arena site is expected to be announced today.
Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard will unveil a long-awaited plan for redeveloping the site at 10 O’Clock this morning.
With different ideas involving businesses, stores, apartments and condominiums.
One proposal called for a 52-story building, which would be the tallest in Indianapolis if built.
Six companies submitted plans for the site, which has been empty since 2001.
Accused 4th of July Shooter Pleads Not Guilty
A teenager accused in a deadly Fourth of July shooting downtown is pleading not guilty.
18 year old, Eron Bonner, made his first court appearance yesterday morning to face charges in the death of 16 year old Monquize Edwards.
Prosecutors made it clear that they will come down hard on the gang-related element of the murder.
Bonner is affiliated with the Eastside Gangster street gang.
Edwards was supposedly a member of the Homicide Goonz.
If Bonner, who has a public defender is convicted and is sentenced to 60 years, that sentence would be doubled because of the gang activity enhancement.
Marion County Sheriff’s Department Say Inmate Walked Out Of Jail
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department says the inmate reported missing over the weekend deliberately walked out of the jail. According to investigators, surveillance video showed every move Brandy Majors made and that will help officers prevent the same thing from happening again.
Majors was being held on an auto theft warrant out of Hendricks County when she disappeared.
