One person was taken into custody early this morning after suspicious activity was reported near the state fairgrounds.
This happened around 3 a.m., when Metro Police received a tip about a group of men involved in a possible break-in at the former Ivy Tech building. Dispatchers said one man was carrying an assault rifle.

76 Year Old Woman Found Dead in Pool
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department said 76 year old Marylyn Webb, was pulled from the pool at a home at 336 Mill Farm Road near State Road 38, northwest of Noblesville.
Officials said when they arrived, they found Webb fully clothed and they believed that she likely fell into her private swimming pool in the back yard.
Paramedics assessed Webb and pronounced her dead at the scene.
East side Club Owner Arrested
Police have arrested the owner of a club where three teens and a 20-year-old were shot at a party over the weekend.
James Walker was take into custody yesterday on a felony charges of operating a common nuisance.
Walker was also served with a temporary restraining order preventing him from operating his club, “The Soft Spot Lounge,” on East 46th Street.
Officials said Walker was operating the club without required state and city permits.
Downtown Growing at Record Rate
Downtown Indianapolis is undergoing a residential housing boom. Indianapolis Downtown Incorporated tells WTHR that more than 30 projects worth more than 417-million-dollars are now in the works. Apartments are being built at a record rate to meet record demand.
Indiana Gas Prices Sky Rocket
Gas prices spike in parts of Indiana. Martinsville residents report paying four-dollars and 30-cents per gallon. Prices in central Indiana are closer to four-dollars per gallon. Triple-A reports the increases are due to maintenance work being done on refineries. Analysts say prices should drop when work is completed by the end of June.
