From Veda Howard: PraiseAtl
When I first saw the title of this video I didn’t think I would be laughing. Too often adults think children are being “cute” when they’re actually being disrespectful. This video didn’t make me want to call Mr. Spanky to schedule a home visit… I actually laughed out loud!
A father is offering to help his little daughter buckle up but she wants to be independent, as little people often do. It’s clear she is repeating a phrase she’s heard from some adults in her life, “Worry about yourself.” When he offers help again, she sweetly says, “No kank you.” Baby girl lets Daddy know he can help later. When he won’t stop asking, she reminds him to worry about himself and tells him what he needs to be focusing on. This toddler is funny… even though she’s board room serious.
Moral of the story:
1. EVERYTHING you say around children is being absorbed… Worry about your mouth.
2. I will be telling people to “Worry about yourself,” for the next 3 to 4 months because I think it’s hilarious. You’ve been warned!
Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. -Proverbs 22:6
