I’ve interviewed many great examples of living history, but I finally got to meet and talk with a “Supreme”. Mary Wilson, one of the original members of the legendary musical trio The Supremes comes to Indianapolis as part of the 85th Anniversary Celebration of the Madame Walker Theater. I talked with this living legend about her career both in music and entertainment and her humanitarian work that includes advocating for an end to nations’ using land minds in war. Wilson’s performance at the Walker is a tribute performance to another entertainment legend – Lena Horne. On the same Afternoons with Amos program, I caught up with Judge Glenda Hatchett. Her TV show is in worldwide syndication, and Hatchett has finished the paperback edition of her book Dare to Take Charge along with planning projects through her new production company. Judge Hatchett is in Indianapolis for the Indianapolis Marion County Public Library’s annual Family Fun Fest 2012.
